  • Looking Ahead

If you're reading this, there's a good chance you're already looking ahead and thinking about how you're going to approach weight loss in January.

And that approach might include going back to that diet which "always works" whenever you follow it.

But think about it...

If that diet actually worked, you'd only need to follow it once.

Perhaps the short-term thinking is what's held you back from being able to maintain the results.

Perhaps viewing this as a temporary 6-12 week "fix" is the problem.

Perhaps the approach you need to follow this time is one that includes learning both how to lose weight and how to keep it off long-term.

I'll write more about this next week, but for now, here are a few more things to consider when deciding which approach you're going to take.

  • People Worth Following

Instagram can, when used properly, be a wonderful thing.

Sure, if you're following people who make you feel bad, it sucks.

But that's just because you're following the wrong people.

So unfollow those toxic accounts, and add these wonderful people to your feed instead:

  • Focusing on the Important

For the next few days, there are more important things than fitness and nutrition.

Spending time with family and friends is far more important than doing all your workouts and tracking every calorie.

So whether you're celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or other...

Take a day or two off workouts.

Have a piece of pie.

And enjoy spending time with your loved ones

See you next week,

Daniel
